This model features a 5.5-inch pump body, providing a hefty look beneath wide salon and barber chairs. Its 23-inch diameter standard base plate, or the optional 27-inch diameter base plate, is constructed of heavy gauge steel to prevent bending. The foot treadle is sturdy and is guaranteed not to bend or break. The Model 5550 is available in chrome or a black, textured, powder-coated finish.

Like all Highland Select hydraulic bases, the Model 5550 is manufactured with only the highest quality components. Each is carefully constructed, thoroughly inspected and guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship. All internal components are lubricated, then sealed, preventing leaks or debris from entering. A two-year warranty is included.
